You taste. You sample. You play judge and vote for your favorite margarita. Forty of the best margaritas from the DFW area will be at one location. A Dippin Dot Margarita, from Pie 314 in Lewisville, won last year. Asador, Soleo, Whiskey Cake and Iron Cactus won previous years. You decide which margarita is the best at the Dallas Margarita Meltdown presented by Milagro Silver.

Competitors will concoct their finest margarita and offer samples to you on May 29, 2016 4pm-7pm in the West End of Downtown Dallas, TX. The winner will be announced at 8pm. The event ends at 10pm.

Your ticket includes a sampling card used to vote which allows you to sample, taste and vote for your favorite margarita from each establishment participating. 

This years participants are RJ Mexican Cuisine, Gators, YO Ranch, Hoffbrau Steaks, Tutta's Pizza and Ellen's Southern Kitchen from the West End, Pie 314 and TBD Kitchen from Lewisville, Wild Salsa, Iron Cactus, Frankie's Sports Bar, El Fenix, Taqueria La Ventana and Taboo Lounge from downtown, Mulberry St. Cantina from Denton, Resto Gastro Bistro at Trinity Groves, La Margarita in Irving, Bueno Vista from Oak Cliff, So & So's, Happiest Hour, Savor Gastro Pub, TNT Tacos and Tequila and Fat Rabbit from Uptown, Yucatan Taco Stand from Lower Greenville, Shakertins from Austin Ranch, and Asador at the Renaissance Hotel, Uribe Catering, Filament, High and Tight and Cafe Salsera from Deep Ellum, On the Border and Cafe Herrera at the Omni Hotel with more being added weekly.
 
Food provided by RJ Mexican Cuisine from the West End, Sambuca from Uptown, Veracruz and Greek Cafe and Bakery from Bishop Arts District and Samson's Gourmet Hot Dogs with more being added.
 

DJ Regs will be playing your favorite top 40 favorites. Local vendors and sponsors will also be on premise.

Please bring your ticket printout for confirmation. No refunds, rain or shine. All sales are final. You must be 21+ to purchase tickets. You must arrive early as sampling will begin at 4pm and end at 7pm; festival will continue on until 10pm. You need to allow for time to wait in line, get voting card and sample margaritas.
